Applied Engineering Management (B.S.)
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Engineering Management allows for a variety of exciting opportunities in the areas of Applied Engineering Management and Operations Management. Many of these opportunities utilize the skills students gain in this “hands on” problem solving degree program.
Applied Engineering Management students have the opportunity to enhance their educational experience by participating in an Industrial Internship course during their junior or senior year. This partnership with area industry provides students with valuable “real world” experience while they earn college credit to complete their degree.
Career opportunities are numerous in most technology fields and command competitive salaries. In recent years the job placement rate has averaged 92.3% at graduation with starting salaries ranging from $32,000 to $60,000 with an average salary of $42,000.
Examples of recent graduate job titles include: field specialist, maintenance technician, sales and applications engineer, process engineering technician, fabrication engineer, manufacturing engineering technician, and production operations specialist.
Over the last several years the time to complete the degree has ranged from 33 months to 71 months with the average being 57 months.
