SWOSU employees are required by law to complete certain training.
NEW HIRE Training
The following trainings are to be completed within the allotted time. These trainings should be completed on or after the employees first day of work. Additionally, they should be completed within work hours.
Must be completed within first 30 days employment.
Bloodborne Pathogen Training
Must be completed within first 10 days of employment.
Title IX Training
New hires must be complete within 10 days of employment. This is an annual training. Students and Employees will be sent the training each fall to complete. This online training will be sent to the campus via email communication.
Quarterly Safety Training - Online
SWOSU offers safety training to employees on a quarterly basis. This online training is offered through Canvas. Employees are notified by email when the training is available.
Safety Training – In-person
Additionally, SWOSU offers safety training to individuals in designated positions. Such trainings may include:
- Fire Extinguisher Training
- Hazardous Communications
- Asbestos Training
