Patsy Parker, Ph.D

Patsy Parker is a tenured associate professor and Associate Dean of the Everett Dobson School of Business and Technology at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU). She has served at SWOSU since 1999, with eight years as department chair. Dr. Parker earned a doctor of philosophy degree in higher education administration from the University of Oklahoma. She is active in student recruitment and retention, served as a member of SWOSU’s Higher Learning Commission Steering Committee, as well as many other university committees. In 2014, Dr. Parker was awarded the prestigious Bernhardt Academic Excellence Award. In addition to her role as Associate Dean, she serves as an Advisory Board member for the Administrative Issues Journal, a Tier 1 professional journal. Dr. Parker is active in community service through Rotary International, the local Chamber of Commerce, and American Association of University Women.
