TOEFL or IELTS Score: Graduate

International students seeking graduate admission must demonstrate English Proficiency by one of the following:

English Proficiency Test Scores

TOEFL iBT 79, IELTS 6.5, PTE Academic 53 or iTEP Academic 4.0 are the minimum scores.

This requirement may be waived if the applicant submits a transcript that shows completion of at least 24 college credit hours in the United States or documents that show the completion of university in an English-speaking school system in an English-speaking country.

If you do not have an official score or you do not meet the minimal score required, apply for ESL Admission at The Language Company Center located in Edmond, Oklahoma.

If you have a recent TOEFL score of at least 61, an IELTS score of at least 5.5, a PTE Academic score of at least 46, or an iTEP Academic score of at least 3.5 you may study at The Language Company Center for 12 additional weeks to meet this requirement without taking the test again. At least two thirds of the 12 weeks must be instruction at an advanced level.

Students from the following countries will not be required to demonstrate proof of English Proficiency: Australia, Bahamas, British Isles (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales), Canada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Liberia, New Zealand, South Africa, Tobago, Trinidad, and West Indies. Other exceptions may also apply.
