This Handbook is designed for informational purposes only and does not constitute an employment contract.   Revisions to this Handbook shall be made by the express written approval of the President, Vice President of Administration and Finance and/or the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources.

This Handbook endeavors to reflect the policies of the Regional University System of Oklahoma (RUSO) and SWOSU in compliance with state and federal law.  RUSO policies and state and federal laws supersede SWOSU policies to the extent that they are in conflict. Any policy which is ambiguous may be interpreted by the President or their designee. The online version of the RUSO policy manual may be found at this link:
