Standard (B) Parcel Post, Fourth Class or Library Books

Mail with No Endorsement: For the first 12 months, unendorsed Standard Mail (B) will be forwarded free locally. It will be forwarded outside the local area postage due. During months 13 through 18, the mail piece will be returned with the new address attached, no address correction fee. After 18 months, or if a mail piece is undeliverable or addressee refuses to pay the postage due, the mail piece is returned with the reason for non-delivery attached; forwarding (if attempted) and return postage are charged but there will not be an address correction fee.

Address Service Requested

For the first 12 months Standard Mail (B) will be forwarded free locally, and forwarded outside the local area postage due. A separate notice of the new address is provided and the address correction fee is charged.

During months 13 through 18, the mail pieces is returned with the new address attached. Return postage is charged but not the address correction fee.

After 18 months, or if undeliverable, or if addressee refuses to pay postage due, the mail piece is returned with the reason for non-delivery attached. Forwarding (if attempted) and return postage is charged but not the address correction fee.

Forwarding Service Requested

For the first 12 months Standard Mail (B) will be forwarded locally at no charge and forwarded outside the local area postage due.

During months 13 through 18 the mail piece will be returned with the new address attached. Only return postage is charged.

After 18 months, or if undeliverable or addressee refuses to pay postage due, the mail piece will be returned with the reason for non-delivery attached. Only forwarding (if attempted) and return postage will be charged.

Return Service Requested

The mail piece will be returned with the new address or reason for non-delivery attached. Return postage will be charged.

Change Service Requested

The mail piece will be disposed of by the Postal Service; a separate notice of the new address or reason for non-delivery will be provided and the address correction fee charged.
