Tiffany Seal - Assistant Director
Hi friends! I’m Tiffany, born and raised in Weatherford. While I initially considered exploring options outside my hometown, after visiting several campuses, SWOSU was the one that truly felt like home. I have earned both my degrees from SWOSU, Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and Master of Science in Managerial Leadership.
I’ve proudly been part of the SWOSU family since 2021, beginning as an Administrative Assistant in the Nursing Department. In 2022, I transitioned to the Admissions and Recruitment office where I was an Admissions Coordinator & OK GEAR UP College Success Coach. In March 2026, I moved into my current position as Assistant Director of Advising and Retention Services.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my husband, Kris, also a SWOSU graduate, and keeping up with our son, Oliver. I love baking, making memories with my family and friends, and celebrating all things red, white, and blue, and cheering on the Bulldogs!
I’m proud to be part of the Bulldog community and am passionate about helping students find their path at the university that means so much to me.

Amanda Currier – Retention Management Coordinator
Hey! My name is Amanda Currier, and I am originally from Moore, OK. I moved to Weatherford in 2010 to attend SWOSU. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in 2016 and then with my Master of Education in 2020. After graduating with my undergrad, I fell in love with the town of Weatherford and decided to stick around this wonderful community. I got involved in the local church volunteering the children's/youth ministry as well as helping coach soccer with Weatherford Soccer Club.
I have always had a passion for working with young adults and have been on staff at SWOSU since March of 2019. Since being on staff at SWOSU I have had many different roles, starting as an Academic Coach for the Academic Support Center to being the Retention Coordinator. I love helping students carve a path for themselves and help them along that path towards their education goals. Seeing students have that light bulb type moment of figuring out what they would like to do while at SWOSU is always a rewarding thing to be a part of.
A few things I like to do in my free time are hanging out with friends, playing card/board games. I love being outside whether it's at a sporting event or camping and hiking at local state parks.

Bertha Moreno – Administrative Assistant
My name is Bertha, I have lived in Weatherford, Oklahoma, for the past six years after relocating from Roswell, New Mexico. For more than 15 years, I served as the director of a domestic violence shelter, where I provided leadership in crisis response, survivor advocacy, and community safety. In that role, I oversaw programs, led staff teams, and collaborated with community partners to strengthen services for individuals and families affected by domestic violence.
I have been working at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) in Advising and Retention, since April 2025. I also oversee the campus food pantry, supporting students and helping connect them with resources that contribute to their success and well-being. I am currently working toward completing my bachelor’s degree as well.

Sanket Patkar - Graduate Assistant
My name is Sanket Patkar, and I am a graduate student at SWOSU pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Management. I came to SWOSU in 2023 and initially began my graduate studies in School Counseling, but a year later I had the opportunity to switch to Sports Management and decided to take it.
I am also a soccer player and certain to build a career in the sports field. Through my studies and college internship, I have had the opportunity to work with young athletes and connect with many great people through soccer, which has helped me get to know the Weatherford community.
As a Graduate Assistant with the Department of Advising and Retention Services, my goal is to encourage students to explore campus and step out of their dorm rooms. I was once that student who felt like nothing was happening after 5 pm, but once I started getting involved and building connections, I realized there is always someone on campus willing to guide you toward the path you want to take. With about a year left before I graduate, I hope to help as many students as possible find something they enjoy about SWOSU.
Outside of work and academics, you will usually find me juggling a soccer ball at the Wellness Center or on the open lawns around campus. I spend most of my time playing soccer or taking walks, and I know these last two semesters at SWOSU will go by quickly.
