Major: Pharmacy

Why I Became a Peer Mentor: I wanted to be a peer mentor because I want to be able to help students like I help my friends. It's rewarding seeing when a student finally understands something, they have been struggling with. Teaching students also helps me understand the material better.

Major: Biology

Why I Became a Peer Mentor: This is my third tutoring job, as I used to work at Kumon and then at Burcham Elementary. I wanted to be a peer mentor because I work well with people, I have experience in tutoring, and it allows me to have a job more specific to my major.

Major: Nursing

Why I Became a Peer Mentor: I really appreciated the help I had once received from a peer mentor and I realized that one way I can give back is by becoming a peer mentor as well, with the passion I already have for helping people.

Hunter

Why I Became a Peer Mentor: I wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself and guide students in the right direction in their classes. I’m all about helping students and individuals, so I believe that being a peer mentor was the right fit.
