Disposal of Salvage of Scrap Materials Policy
Section I
Purpose
To ensure that scrap and surplus items are disposed of in an accountable method.
Section II
Procedure
The President will designate employees authorized to dispose of scrap and surplus items. These items are defined as items that are not equipment, i.e., scrap wood, metal, and other miscellaneous items that are the result of remodeling, renovation and temporary construction projects.
The attached form will be completed and signed by the appropriate individual.
