Administrative Overhead Charge Policy

Section I

Purpose

Effective July 1, 1991, Agency Special Accounts shall be charged a percentage of gross revenue to reimburse the educational and general fund for providing certain administrative services.

Section II

Procedure

The administrative charge rate will be calculated each year using the most recent SRA-6 data. The calculation will be adjusted for academic administration and any administrative cost in the auxiliary areas. The administrative charge will used to fund the administrative offset account.

Agency Special Accounts which shall not be subject to this administrative charge are:

  • Agency Relationship Accounts (student organizations)
  • Federal Government Accounts
  • Scholarship or Loan Accounts
  • Deposit and/or Refund Accounts
